We are inviting candidates for the position of:
Designer Intern
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Design, VMD & Retail Branding Intern to support our design team in developing engaging visual concepts and brand experiences for advertising, retail, and promotional campaigns.
You will work closely with designers, visual merchandisers, account teams, and other creative team members to translate brand ideas into compelling visual executions across retail and physical spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Assist designers in developing creative concepts, layouts, mock-ups, and visual presentations for advertising and retail projects.
- Assist with retail branding and environmental graphics, ensuring brand consistency across physical touchpoints.
- Prepare artwork, presentation decks, mood boards, references, and visual proposals.
- Adapt and resize creative artwork for different formats and applications.
- Conduct research on design trends, retail environments, materials, production techniques, and competitor activities.
- Assist in creating basic 3D/mock-up visuals or visualisations where required.
- Support the team during photoshoots, installations, site visits, and production when needed.
- Coordinate with production vendors and suppliers under the guidance of the design team.
- Organise artwork files, references, and project assets.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interior Design, Spatial Design, Fashion, Advertising, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of design principles, typography, colour, composition, and branding.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Basic knowledge of Figma, 3D software, or motion/visualisation tools is an advantage.
- Strong interest in retail, branding, advertising, visual merchandising, and creative design.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
