Job Description – IP Services Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced IP Services Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in F5, Load Balancing, Infoblox, NGINX, scripting, and open-source technologies. The role will focus on deployment, implementation, migration, configuration, and support of IP services and application delivery infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain F5 Load Balancers and related IP services.
• Perform F5 migration from physical appliances to Virtual Machine (VM) platforms.
• Implement and manage NGINX for load balancing, reverse proxy, web traffic management, and application delivery.
• Develop and maintain scripts/programs for automation, configuration, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Deploy and manage Infoblox DDI solutions covering DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to load balancing, DNS, DHCP, and IP services.
• Work with open-source technologies and integrate them into enterprise infrastructure where required.
• Configure and support F5/NGINX traffic management, SSL offloading, health monitoring, and high availability.
• Support network integration with Routing and Switching environments.
• Perform implementation, testing, migration, and validation activities with minimal service disruption.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with network, security, application, and infrastructure teams during deployments and troubleshooting.

Required Technical Skills

• F5 BIG-IP / Load Balancing – Expert
• F5 Migration to VM / Virtual Edition (VE) – Strong hands-on experience
• NGINX – Strong hands-on experience
• Infoblox DDI – DNS, DHCP, IPAM
• Programming / Scripting / Coding – Strong knowledge
• Open-Source Technologies – Good exposure
• Routing & Switching – Fair/working knowledge
• Network troubleshooting and IP services
• High Availability, SSL/TLS, traffic management, and application delivery concepts

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of overall relevant experience in IP Services / Network Infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with F5 and Load Balancer technologies.
• Proven experience in F5 migration to VM/virtual environments.
• Strong experience in NGINX and scripting/automation.
• Hands-on experience with Infoblox DDI.
• Good understanding of enterprise networking, particularly Routing and Switching.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise deployment and implementation environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
