About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Data Engineering Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Power BI and Data Architecture.

This role is suitable for an experienced Data Engineer who can work hands-on technically while also leading and coordinating teams, managing stakeholders and supporting project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate data engineering activities across projects.
• Design and implement scalable Azure-based data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Develop data-processing solutions using Python, SQL and Spark.
• Work with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Work with Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Coordinate technical delivery, priorities, risks and dependencies.
• Manage communication with business and technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Review technical solutions and ensure quality of delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex data engineering and platform issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project planning.
• Support API integration and data consumption requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong experience with Power BI report development.
• Strong knowledge of Data Architecture.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Work Location: In person
