Job Summary:

The Finance Executive at Cameron Bharat Plantation Sdn Bhd is responsible for supporting the finance team in managing the company’s financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and contributing to the organization’s financial health. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in accounting who is detail-oriented and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal stakeholders.
• Assist in financial data analysis and provide variance explanations.

2) Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Support budget tracking, analysis, identifying variances and trends.

3) Accounting Operations

• Handle daily accounting tasks including general ledger entries, invoicing, AP/AR and payroll support.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.

4) Taxation & Compliance

• Assist with tax computations and ensure timely submission of statutory filings (e.g., SST, income tax, withholding tax).
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors or consultants when necessary.

5) Cash Flow & Treasury Support

• Monitor day-to-day cash balances and prepare cash flow updates.
• Support banking transactions and reconciliations.

6) Internal Controls

• Follow internal control procedures and assist in improving process efficiency
• Help identify risks or control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Pursuing or partially qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or CPA is a plus.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Good knowledge of accounting rules and tax laws.
• Skilled in Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
• Attention to detail, analytical and meets deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
