This role goes beyond traditional teaching assistance, encompassing end-to-end course management, student engagement, and academic quality assurance.

The AM plays a critical role in bridging Faculty and students—ensuring clarity of instruction, timely feedback, and a high-quality learning experience. The role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Faculty in the planning, preparation, and execution of courses, ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery
  • Act as a primary liaison between Faculty and students, facilitating communication, clarifications, and academic discussions
  • Evaluate assignments, projects, and assessments, providing timely, constructive, and high-quality feedback
  • Conduct tutorials, recitations, or review sessions to reinforce student understanding, particularly for quantitative subjects
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of teaching materials, case studies, and academic content
  • Support data analysis, modelling, and interpretation tasks related to course content, where applicable
  • Monitor student performance and engagement, providing insights to Faculty for continuous improvement
  • Assist in academic research activities, including literature reviews, data collection, and analysis
  • Manage administrative and regulatory requirements related to course delivery and academic compliance

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in academia, research, consulting, or industry roles involving analytical or quantitative work
  • Experience supporting or delivering data-intensive, finance-related, or quantitatively rigorous courses is highly desirable
  • Strong interest and capability in academic research, writing, and case development
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex quantitative concepts for diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
