Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ACMV systems and related equipment.
Inspect and maintain air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation equipment to ensure reliable operation.
Troubleshoot ACMV system faults and identify the cause of equipment breakdowns.
Carry out repair and rectification works, including replacement of faulty components where required.
Respond promptly to ACMV faults, complaints and maintenance requests.
Monitor repair works and provide progress updates to the relevant supervisor.
Perform routine checks and servicing of equipment according to maintenance schedules.
Support ad-hoc repair and maintenance activities when required.
Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with workplace safety and health requirements.
Maintain tools and equipment properly and ensure good housekeeping within work areas.
Perform other related maintenance duties as assigned.
Requirements
NITEC in ACMV, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or
Diploma in ACMV, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience; or
Candidates holding a BCA-accredited SEC / CoreTrade trade certificate in ACMV or Mechanical works should have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Good hands-on experience in ACMV maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Strong safety awareness with good WSH practices.
Willing to perform shift work when required.
