About the role

M Gadget Sdn Bhd is seeking a KOL & Affiliate Engagement Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time position based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing and managing relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and affiliate partners to drive brand awareness, engagement and sales growth. You will serve as a strategic bridge between M Gadget and our external influencer and affiliate network, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships that align with our business objectives and brand values.

Key responsibilities

1. Identify, research and evaluate potential KOLs and affiliate partners whose audiences align with M Gadget's target market and brand positioning

2. Develop and execute comprehensive engagement strategies to recruit and onboard new KOLs and affiliate partners

3. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing KOLs and affiliates through regular communication, support and performance reviews

4. Negotiate partnership terms, commission structures and campaign deliverables with KOLs and affiliates

5. Coordinate and manage marketing campaigns, product launches and promotional activities in collaboration with KOL and affiliate partners

6. Track, monitor and analyse KOL and affiliate performance metrics including reach, engagement rates, conversion rates and return on investment (ROI)

7. Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimise future campaigns

8. Manage affiliate payments, commissions and contractual obligations to ensure timely and accurate processing

9. Serve as the primary point of contact for KOL and affiliate inquiries, requests and concerns

10. Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, sales, product and content to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with business goals

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience of 2-4 years in KOL management, influencer relations, affiliate marketing or similar roles in marketing communications

2. In-depth knowledge of the influencer and affiliate marketing landscape, including emerging platforms and trends

3. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for engaging diverse stakeholders

5. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with performance tracking tools and analytics platforms

6. Solid understanding of digital marketing, social media marketing and content creation

7. Experience with CRM systems and affiliate management platforms is preferred

8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

9. Strong organisational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail

10. Creative thinking and strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities

11. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage

12. A genuine passion for building relationships and driving brand growth through influencer and affiliate partnerships
