Job Description

Reporting to the Finance leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting financial and group reporting requirements while contributing to governance and control initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support month-end financial close activities, including reconciliations, journals, and analytical reviews.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly group reporting submissions in accordance with IFRS17 requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audit engagements and assist in the preparation of reporting documentation.
  • Partner closely with finance, actuarial, and operational stakeholders to ensure data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Strengthen financial controls and improve general ledger substantiation processes.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of first-line controls and governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to finance transformation projects, process improvements, and risk management initiatives.


The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within insurance finance, financial reporting, or group reporting environments.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS17 and insurance accounting principles.
  • Understanding of financial reporting standards, governance, and regulatory requirements within financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage large data sets.
  • Experience supporting audits, financial controls, risk management, or SOX-related frameworks.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
