[LTA/PT] DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS LICENCE SERVICES

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the administration and regulation of bus licensing matters. The key responsibilities include:

• Engage and collaborate with bus operators, private bus industry and associations, government agencies and overseas counterparts on bus licensing and regulatory matters, including cross-border bus services.
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve regulatory processes, service standards and operational efficiency.
• Analyse industry data, operational trends and stakeholder feedback to support policy development and decision-making.
• Review and enhance legislation, licensing conditions, operational guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare policy papers, management reports, briefing materials and responses to public and industry enquiries.
• Monitor licensees' compliance with legislative and licensing requirements, and conduct investigations into regulatory breaches where necessary.
• Develop, implement and maintain systems to support operational processes, including reviewing business requirements, conducting user acceptance testing, and managing master data and templates for daily operations
  
  

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in any discipline with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
• Possess strong communication skills with an excellent command of the English language – able to prepare and deliver clear written, verbal, and visual proposals to senior management (e.g. presentation, papers, and communications materials).
• Independent and able to take the initiative to resolve issues to meet deadlines.
• Team player who is resourceful, analytical, self-motivated and confident.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates without experience but display potential aptitude in the role may also be considered.
