Job Requirements & Skills Education:
1. Minimum SPM, Diploma, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
2. Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in debt recovery, credit control, or customer collections.
3. Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, conflict resolution, and active communication skills.
4. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local financial laws, privacy guidelines, and debt collection ethics.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Tracking:
1. Monitor and identify delinquent accounts, pre-NPLs, and high-risk financial portfolios.
2. Customer Communication: Contact debtors via phone calls, emails, or field visits to follow up on overdue payments.Payment
3. Negotiation: Negotiate realistic payment plans, settlements, or restructuring options suited to the borrower's financial situation.
4. Record Keeping: Update customer databases, payment statuses, and daily collection logs accurately.
5. Legal Coordination: Escalate uncooperative cases for legal action, asset repossession, or third-party agency involvement in compliance with regulations.
6. Reporting: Prepare recovery performance reports and risk assessments for senior management.
