Full Time Professor in Physiotherapy, S.K. Yee School of Health Sciences Jobs, in CARITAS INSTITUTE OF HIGHER EDUCATION Sai Kung District, Hong Kong - Maukerja

The appointee will be required to:

• Provide leadership and steer the development and operation of the Integrated Clinical Education Centre (ICEC) and contribute to the planning, review, and development of academic programmes and courses in the relevant discipline at postgraduate, undergraduate, and sub-degree levels;
• Contribute to the advancement of physiotherapy education and related disciplines through innovative teaching and curriculum development;
• Undertake teaching activities at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels;
• Initiate, lead, and conduct research and consultancy that result in publications in top-tier refereed journals and other scholarly outputs;
• Engage in industrial and community partnership activities and other professional collaborations;
• Undertake relevant academic and administrative duties and contribute to the effective operation of the School; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School of Health Sciences, the Provost, the President, or their delegates.

Applicants should have:

• A PhD or an earned and recognized doctoral degree with strong academic and professional qualifications in their field, or a related discipline;
• Substantial relevant research, teaching, and industrial experience, with recognized expertise and a demonstrated, proven track record of active research, publications, and scholarly activities in their field and related areas;
• Demonstrated academic leadership through planning, managing and evaluating academic programmes, research and scholarship activities, and industrial partnerships in their respective areas.

Applicants for appointment at Professor level should have substantial years of relevant post-qualification experience in physiotherapy and an excellent record of relevant academic and/or research achievement. Applicants with less experience will be considered for appointment as Associate or Assistant Professor.
