About the role

Channel Lead role focused on developing and implementing account strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement account strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Skintific accounts, including buyers, category managers, and store managers.
• Conduct regular business reviews with accounts to analyse performance, identify growth opportunities, and address any challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including offline marketing, product development, and supply chain, to develop tailored strategies and initiatives for Skintific accounts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for new product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to demand planning activities.
• Create and implement annual business plan taking into account all levers of growth: commercial agreements, marketing actions, education, merchandising and retail opportunities, profitability, trade terms, etc.
• Monitor the accounts’ performance against business plan (reporting and analytics) and develop alternative strategies when needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting the beauty industry.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business Studies/Management or equivalent.
• Good sales management track record with Key Account Management experience in handling HQ in FMCG.
• Independent, confident, and results-driven with strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills and strong financial acumen.
• Strong analytical and communication skills and be able to look at issues from different perspectives and be a proven achiever, ideally from within the FMCG.
• Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing and developing key accounts.
• Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to close.
