Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement production schedules and plans.
- Ensure that production meets quality standards and specifications.
- Manage and lead a team of production workers and supervisors.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and quality control departments.
- Monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement cost-saving measures and strategies to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Manage inventory levels to support production schedules.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
- Implement and oversee maintenance programs for production equipment.
- Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes.
- Supervise the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and supplies.
