Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of regional client implementation projects, from kick-off and
requirements gathering through configuration, testing, go-live and handover to Service Delivery.
• Manage a portfolio of concurrent multi-country projects, owning scope, timelines, budget,
resourcing and risk, and ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget and to quality
standards.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of project managers and implementation consultants across
multiple countries, setting priorities, allocating resources and managing performance.
• Act as the senior escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders, building trusted
relationships with client sponsors and HR, finance and IT leaders.
• Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, R&D and Service Delivery to ensure a smooth
journey from contract signing to implementation and into steady-state operations.
• Strengthen project governance, methodology, templates and tooling, and provide regular
portfolio reporting and KPIs to senior management.
• Support Pre-Sales on larger or complex deals, including effort estimation, implementation
approach and client presentations.
• Work with the Project Director on a structured transition plan and progressively take over
portfolio ownership, key client relationships and team leadership, assuming full accountability
for the regional project function within approximately 12 months.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources or a related field. PMP,
PRINCE2 or an equivalent certification is an advantage.
• 10+ years of project or implementation experience, including at least 5 years leading multi
country projects and managing project teams, ideally in payroll, HR technology, EOR or
enterprise SaaS.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder implementations across Asia
Pacific (e.g. HCM, payroll or ERP systems).
• Solid understanding of payroll and HR processes; knowledge of statutory and compliance
requirements across APAC markets is highly preferred.
• Strong people leadership, with experience managing managers and leading remote teams across
different countries and time zones.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and confidence engaging with
senior client stakeholders up to C-level.
• Structured, commercially aware and able to balance delivery quality with project profitability.
• Willing to travel within the region as required.
