Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator based in WP. Kuala Lumpur.

 Minimum 5 years of Database Administration on MidRange/Wintel Databases. Knowledge on Mainframe Databases will be advantageous.

 Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline - Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in IT.

 Diploma in IT - Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in IT.

 Professional DBMS certification is advantageous.

 Good knowledge on Oracle Database Administration Installation, upgrade, patches

 Database performance tuning.

 Backup & Recovery.

 Automation of monitoring & alerts generation.

 Experience on Disaster Recovery.

 Knowledge on Cluster setup such as Oracle RAC, HACMP, Veritas Cluster and Windows cluster.

 Knowledge on DB replication such as Dataguard, Goldengate & Disks Replication.

 DBMS installation & Upgrades.

 Standard enforcements.

 Capacity Management & Planning.

SLA management 24X7 availability.
