Responsibilities
Our client is part of an established
Singapore-based construction and property group
with an established track record in the industry. The Group has a diverse portfolio of businesses and projects and is committed to maintaining strong financial governance, operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
They are seeking an experienced
Accounts Manager
to oversee the Group's accounting and financial functions while providing strategic financial insights to support business and management decisions.
Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning and strategic analysis, including project feasibility studies, due diligence and cost-benefit analysis.
Oversee cash flow forecasting, management and planning across the Group.
Prepare annual budgets and present financial plans and analysis to Management and Shareholders.
Prepare monthly financial performance and variance/bridge reports, providing insights into budget vs. actual performance.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business and investment decisions.
Oversee the preparation and review of financial accounts and consolidated Group accounts.
Coordinate annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including ACRA, IRAS, BCA and URA.
Manage external relationships with auditors, company secretaries, bankers, tax authorities and other professional advisors.
Develop and review accounting policies, procedures and the Group's Accounting & Financial Manual.
Review existing processes and implement improvements to strengthen financial controls and operational efficiency.
Identify financial and operational risks and recommend appropriate mitigating measures.
Provide coaching and mentoring to team members and identify training and development needs.
Conduct internal training to enhance the team's technical knowledge and capabilities.
Support Group-level initiatives and corporate programmes, including Vision, Mission & Core Values, ISO and other business improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline;
CPA/CA qualification is preferred
.
Minimum
10 years of relevant experience
in accounting, auditing and financial management.
Relevant experience in the
Construction and/or Property Development industry
is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting, taxation and statutory requirements.
Proven experience in Group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow management.
Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to translate financial information into actionable insights.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
