OneSixty is expanding across Malaysia and beyond, and we are now opening a new operation in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is an opportunity to join at the ground level and take ownership of building a successful fundraising operation from the beginning.

The Role

As Fundraising Manager, you will take overall responsibility for establishing and growing our KK operation. You will lead the recruitment, onboarding, development and performance of the fundraising team while working closely with senior management to build a strong and sustainable office.

This is a hands-on management role for someone who is confident in leading people, setting standards and making things happen. You will be responsible for creating the right culture, driving team performance and ensuring the operation is aligned with OneSixty’s values and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and day-to-day operations of the KK fundraising team.
• Recruit, onboard, develop and retain a strong local fundraising team.
• Set team targets and drive performance, productivity, quality and consistency.
• Manage and develop Team Leaders, ensuring effective coaching and leadership within the team.
• Establish strong team culture, accountability and professional standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators including productivity, donor quality, retention, headcount and attendance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve team and office performance.
• Work closely with senior management on recruitment, training, reporting and overall market growth.
• Represent OneSixty and our charity partners professionally within the KK market.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience managing teams within face-to-face fundraising, sales or a target-driven environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people-management skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to understand performance data and translate it into action.
• Highly organised, accountable and comfortable taking ownership of a new operation.
• Confident communicator who can build strong relationships and motivate a diverse team.
• Adaptable, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-growing environment.
• Experience in face-to-face fundraising or sales management is strongly preferred.Growth Opportunity
