Full Time Research Assistant Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,000 in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Selangor - Maukerja

We are looking for a hardworking, proactive, and hands-on Research Assistant to support a research and development project involving the extraction of extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) from algae and their incorporation with biopolymers for the development of biodegradable plastic/biomaterial products.

The successful candidate will work in laboratory to do experiments, sample preparation, extraction of algal EPS, material formulation, testing, and writing of manuscript.

Qualification Required:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in one of the following or a closely related field:

• Chemical Engineering
• Bioprocess Engineering
• Biotechnology
• Environmental Science/Engineering
• Good documentation and data-recording skills.

- Able to work independently as well as as part of a research team.

- Proactive – able to identify problems and take initiative rather than waiting for instructions.

- Curious and willing to learn.

- Must have own transportation.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
