NUH Internship Programme (Jan 2027 – Jun 2027)

Curious about the inner workings of a hospital? Join NUH on a 6-month full time internship to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operational aspects of healthcare organisations. Explore critical functions of hospital administration such as operations, human resource, communications, and quality improvement that support the smooth delivery of patient care.

Program Overview

This comprehensive internship provides university students hands-on experience in healthcare education administration. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll support digital transformation initiatives and educational programs while developing essential skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

Digital Transformation Support

• Assist with research on digital solutions for nursing education

• Support process mapping and documentation of current workflows

• Help test and evaluate new digital tools and platforms

• Contribute to user feedback collection and analysis for digital initiatives

• Assist in creating user guides and training materials for new systems


Data Analysis & Reporting Support

• Compile and organize data from nursing education programs

• Assist in creating reports and presentations under supervision

• Help maintain databases and tracking systems

• Contribute to data visualization and dashboard creation


Program Coordination & Administrative Support

• Assist in coordinating training programs and educational initiatives

• Support event planning and logistics for educational programs

• Help with stakeholder communication and follow-up activities

• Contribute to documentation of program processes and outcomes

• Assist with quality assurance activities and feedback collection


Creative Content & Communication Support

• Help develop multimedia content for educational programs

• Assist with social media and communication materials

• Support graduation ceremony and event coordination

• Contribute creative ideas for improving program engagement

• Help create presentations and visual materials for various initiatives


Learning Objectives

Upon completion, interns will have gained:
