We're Hiring: Social Media Specialist (Contract) – Remote


We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Social Media Specialist to support the execution and day-to-day management of a global B2B organic social media program.


The ideal candidate is experienced in managing social media programs across LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Instagram, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and deadlines, and able to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely social media execution.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in social media execution and employee advocacy.
  • Experience working in a global B2B organization, agency, or technology company.
  • Hands-on experience managing LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Instagram.
  • Experience using social media management platforms, particularly Sprout Social.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written communication and proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines effectively.
  • Good understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media Execution & Publishing

  • Publish and schedule social media content across corporate and executive social channels.
  • Manage the day-to-day social media content calendar.
  • Ensure content is accurately formatted, tagged, and optimized according to platform requirements.
  • Coordinate post timing and regional deployment with marketing teams and external partners.
  • Monitor scheduled content and troubleshoot publishing issues.


Social Content Coordination

  • Collaborate with content, communications, digital, product marketing, events, and regional marketing teams to gather and prepare social media assets.
  • Coordinate content for campaigns, product launches, webinars, videos, reports, customer stories, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Track content requests and ensure assets are delivered on schedule.
  • Manage social media workflows and approval processes.


Employee Advocacy & Executive Support

  • Support employee advocacy programs by preparing social copy and assets for employee sharing.
  • Coordinate executive social posting schedules and content distribution.
  • Ensure social content aligns with brand voice and messaging standards.


Community Management

  • Monitor corporate social channels for comments, mentions, and engagement opportunities.
  • Escalate customer inquiries, issues, or sensitive interactions to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Support audience engagement in accordance with social media guidelines.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare regular social media performance reports.
  • Track engagement, reach, follower growth, clicks, shares, and other key metrics.
  • Maintain reporting dashboards and provide insights into content performance.
  • Identify optimization opportunities based on engagement trends.


Operational Excellence

  • Maintain social media documentation, calendars, publishing processes, and best practices.
  • Support social media governance and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure consistency across channels, campaigns, and regions.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
