Roles & Responsibilities

• Trading Execution & Portfolio Management - Execute derivatives transactions (futures, options, swaps, forwards), manage trading positions, monitor portfolio performance, optimize risk-return profile, and ensure achievement of trading objectives and revenue targets.

• Market Making & Liquidity Provision - Quote continuous two-way prices across vanilla and structured derivatives (options, futures, swaps) on both exchange and OTC platforms; manage market-making inventory to balance flow capture against risk exposure; develop and maintain quoting logic and electronic execution infrastructure for products such as vanilla options, barrier options, accumulators, TARFs, and spread options; act as a primary liquidity provider to brokers, exchanges, and counterparties.

• Market Analysis & Strategy Development - Analyze market trends, economic data, volatility, interest rates, and asset price movements. Develop and implement trading and hedging strategies, identify market opportunities, and evaluate new products or instruments.

• Risk Management & Portfolio Monitoring - Monitor market, credit, liquidity, and counterparty risks. Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, ensure compliance with trading limits, and implement hedging actions where necessary. Manage Greeks (delta, gamma, vega, theta) arising from the market-making book, including dynamic hedging and skew management.

• Stakeholder & Counterparty Management - Liaise with brokers, exchanges, counterparties, treasury, risk management, sales, and investment teams. Provide trading insights, market updates, and support business initiatives. Build and maintain a network of counterparties and liquidity venues to support market-making activity.

• Compliance, Governance & Reporting - Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, trading mandates, audit requirements, transaction documentation, and management reporting obligations.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's Degree or MBA is an advantage.
• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) / FRM (Financial Risk Manager) / PRM (Professional Risk Manager).
• Relevant exchange or regulatory certifications.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in derivatives trading or capital markets.
• Proven track record in managing significant trading portfolios and generating sustainable returns.
• Experience across multiple derivatives products and asset classes.
• Strong understanding of market microstructure, pricing models, and risk analytics.
• Direct experience in market making on both exchange and OTC platforms.
• Prior exposure to algorithmic trading / electronic quoting engines.
• Established network of counterparties, brokers, and liquidity venues.
