Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Quality Control role based in Bandar Baru Bangi. The role involves monitoring and inspecting steel products and production processes to ensure they meet internal standards and customer specifications. Responsibilities include conducting routine quality checks, documenting test results, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with production teams. The role also includes supporting internal and external audits, maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and company procedures. Collaboration with operations, engineering, and safety teams is essential to drive continuous improvement in product quality and process performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, including product inspection, testing, and process verification.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management and Quality Auditing to support system implementation, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and related compliance standards applicable to manufacturing environments.
• Candidates should possess relevant technical skills such as interpreting engineering drawings, using measurement tools, and understanding basic statistical quality methods.
• Candidates should possess good problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a focus on root-cause analysis.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production, engineering, and management personnel.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in manufacturing or metal/steel industries is an advantage.
