As the automotive industry accelerates towards electrification, Cycle & Carriage Singapore is launching the
KIA EV Bootcamp
. This is a structured early-career programme designed to develop future-ready EV specialists in Singapore.
This programme combines professional training, hands-on experience and a clear career pathway, offering you the opportunity to build specialised EV skills and grow with a trusted automotive powerhouse.
Programme Commencement:
October 2026
Programme Type:
Paid EV Bootcamp → Paid Internship → Full-Time Career Opportunity
Programme Structure & Career Pathway
Phase 1: KIA EV Bootcamp (2 months)
Structured classroom learning and hands-on practical training
Exposure to KIA EV systems
EV Level 1 Certification upon successful completion of assessment
Phase 2: Full-Time Internship (10 Months) **
On-the-job training under experienced EV specialists
Real-world exposure to KIA EV servicing and diagnostics
Opportunity for conversion to permanent employment, subject to performance
** Note: As the EV Bootcamp is fully sponsored, the internship phase will be subject to a training bond. Terms and conditions apply.
Is this you?
If you’re at the start of your career and excited about technology, hands-on learning and the future of electric vehicles, we’d love to hear from you. No prior EV experience is required - training will be provided. All we ask is the right attitude and willingness to learn.
If you are an individual who is:
Singaporean only
A current ITE / Polytechnic Engineering student open to internship opportunities (Sept–Oct intake) OR
An ITE, Polytechnic or TED graduate (Engineering-related disciplines), with up to 1 year of working experience
Motivated to pursue a long-term technical career in the automotive / EV industry
Curious about the growing Electric vehicle industry
Enjoy hands-on work with tools, machines and real equipment
Care about doing things properly, safely and accurately
Work well with others and learn better as a team
