Responsibilities
- Perform detailed failure analysis and root cause investigation on defective products, assemblies, or components.
- Utilize debugging tools, test equipment, and software to identify and isolate issues in production or testing stages.
- Analyze test data, yield reports, and failure trends to recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and improve product reliability.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by identifying potential risks and ensuring smooth ramp-up.
- Develop and maintain debugging procedures, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.
- Conduct verification tests after corrective actions to ensure issues are fully resolved.
- Provide technical support during line issues, customer complaints, or audit requirements.
- Collaborate with design teams to feedback product design improvements based on failure analysis findings.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- AUTHORITES:
- Authority to perform technical analysis and determine root cause of product or process failures.
- Authority to recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues.
- Authority to stop or hold production/testing processes in the event of critical quality or reliability issues.
