Full Time ILMT Administrator (IBM License Metric Operations) Jobs, in Commerz Global Service Solutions Selangor - Maukerja

We are looking for an administrator for our ILMT infrastructure. You are expected to have IBM Certified Administrator knowledge.

Work Arrangement:

EMEA Hours 08:00 – 17:00 (UTC +01:00) or Malaysia Hours from 3:00PM - 12:00AM. You may need to support on-call and out of hours support.

Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of the ILMT system
• Regular execution and monitoring of software and hardware scans
• Applying updates, fix packs and new software catalogs
• Ensuring availability and performance of the ILMT server

• License and compliance reporting
• Creating, maintaining and reviewing license reports (especially PVU/RVU metrics)
• Checking that all relevant IBM products and instances are correctly captured
• Supporting audit and compliance requests by providing ILMT data

• Data maintenance and corrections
• Validating ILMT detections (product assignments, bundles, versions)
• Performing manual corrections for incorrect or missing assignments
• Coordinating with business/application owners to verify actual usage

• Error analysis and troubleshooting
• Analyzing issues in scans, agent communication or report generation
• Collaborating with infrastructure teams (server, network, database) to resolve problems
• Escalating and working with IBM Support when necessary

• Documentation and training
• Maintaining documentation of ILMT architecture, processes and operating procedures
• Creating guidelines for proper use and interpretation of ILMT reports
• supporting internal stakeholders (license management, procurement, compliance)

Skills Qualifications & Requirements:

• Good ILMT knowledge. IBM Certified Administrator knowledge level expected
• Good BigFix knowledge
• Good knowledge of Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Solaris
• Deploy all ILMT application servers and Client Agents based on the defined processes
