Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on and responsible Urban Farm Operator to support daily operations within our high-tech greenhouse facility.

The role involves operating and monitoring farm equipment, maintaining greenhouse hygiene, and supporting crop cultivation, harvesting and post-harvest activities. The ideal candidate is practical, detail-oriented and willing to learn basic equipment troubleshooting and modern farming techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, crop cultivation, harvesting and other farm activities according to production schedules.
• Support the sorting, packing and proper handling of harvested produce.
• Operate and monitor greenhouse machinery and equipment, including irrigation systems, climate-control systems, seeding equipment and harvesting tools.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure smooth and safe operations.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor operational issues and escalate more complex problems to the supervisor or relevant team.
• Maintain greenhouse cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food-safety and operational standards.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure the proper and safe use of tools, machinery and equipment.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient and smooth daily farm operations.
• Perform other farm-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents only.
• Minimum ITE qualification or equivalent.
• Prior experience or basic knowledge in farming, agriculture, manufacturing or equipment operations is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
• Team player, detail-oriented with a responsible and positive work attitude.
• Willing to work on-site and adapt to varying greenhouse and farm conditions.
• Requires standing for extended periods and handling of equipment and produce.
• Able to carry weight of produce up to 10kg
