Candidate Profile

You must have significant experience in blending both corporate functions and on site activities to ensure a seamless and successful HSQE function is correctly implemented, providing a safe working environment for all employees.

Job Purpose

Overall responsibility for the development and implementation of a compliant HSQE Management System. Promote and communicate a positive safety culture within the company for all parties that may be affected by our business activities. Continuous management, development and improvement of the TCG Best Practice Manuals with regards to HSQE.

To manage, mentor and train HSE site teams in HSQE management techniques. To promote best practice, lessons learnt and provide trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Company's Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) Management System and related policies, procedures, and programmes.

Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, site assessments, and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out.

Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture through training, toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and employee engagement.

Ensure compliance with all applicable workplace safety, environmental, and statutory regulations, including project notifications and regulatory submissions.

Provide HSE advice and support to management, project teams, and employees on all safety and environmental matters.

Carry out incident investigations, emergency preparedness planning, drills, and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.

Conduct regular project site visits to monitor HSE performance and enforce compliance with company standards.

Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, reports, and performance metrics for management review.

Develop and deliver HSE training programmes to improve employee competency and awareness.

Act as the Management Representative (MR) / Environmental Representative for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.

Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Company's Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.

Plan, coordinate, and manage internal and external ISO audits, ensuring compliance and successful certification.

Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, external auditors, and other stakeholders on HSE and ISO-related matters.

Prepare HSE performance reports and provide recommendations to senior management for continual improvement.

Lead the Environmental Management System (EMS) Committee and promote sustainability initiatives, including environmental awareness and energy conservation.

Support line managers in managing HSE risks and fostering a proactive culture where all employees take responsibility for workplace safety.

Represent the Company during client meetings, site inspections, and external HSE engagements.

Support project teams with occupational health matters, including medical cases and workplace injury management where required.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives through post-project reviews, safety performance monitoring, and implementation of HSE best ************* undertaken.
