Job Description
Responsibilities
Drive company vehicles to transport construction materials, tools, equipment and goods between project sites, warehouses and suppliers.
Load, unload and arrange materials safely at worksites and storage areas.
Check materials against delivery orders and ensure correct quantities are delivered.
Assist with receiving, sorting, moving and storing construction materials.
Ensure materials are properly secured during transportation.
Maintain proper records of deliveries, collections and material movements.
Conduct basic daily checks of the assigned vehicle and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
Follow workplace safety procedures and proper manual handling practices.
Maintain good housekeeping at storage and work areas.
Assist site workers and supervisors with material handling and delivery-related activities.
Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials from different project locations.
Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Secondary School education or equivalent.
Valid
Singapore Class 3 Driving License
.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant driving, delivery or materials-handling experience preferred.
Experience in construction or engineering industry will be an advantage.
Familiar with loading, unloading, transporting and storing construction materials.
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling of materials.
Good knowledge of Singapore roads and safe driving practices.
Responsible, punctual and safety conscious.
Able to work independently and follow instructions.
Willing to travel between different project sites and work extended hours when required.
