Job Description
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical engineering works for ships, vessels and marine equipment.
- Assist in installation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of vessel electrical systems.
- Inspect and diagnose electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with electrical distribution systems, switchboards, control panels, motors, generators, cables and related equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, work reports, material requirements and project documentation.
- Coordinate wit h clients, shipyards, contractors, suppliers and technical teams.
- Support onboard/site inspection, testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure electrical works comply with relevant safety requirements and marine standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to specifications and schedule.
- Perform other engineering duties related to marine electrical projects as assigned
Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
