Our client is a well-established Malaysian sports and sporting goods company offering a wide range of sports apparel, footwear, equipment, fitness products and accessories. The company serves both individual and corporate customers through its retail, online and bulk sales channels.

Position: Indoor Sales Executive (Local & eCommerce)

Location: Jalan TAR, KL

Job Summary

We are looking for an Indoor Sales Executive to manage sales enquiries from local customers and eCommerce platforms, convert enquiries into sales and provide customers with a positive purchasing experience.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling WhatsApp, phone calls, online enquiries, eCommerce orders and customer follow-ups, with a strong interest in sales and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming sales enquiries from local customers through phone, WhatsApp, social media, website and eCommerce platforms.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide accurate product information, pricing, availability and recommendations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable sports apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed sales and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Follow up on quotations, potential customers and pending enquiries to maximise sales conversion.
• Process customer orders and coordinate with the warehouse/operations team regarding stock availability, packing and delivery.
• Manage enquiries and orders received through various eCommerce platforms and online sales channels.
• Assist customers with product selection, sizing, availability, delivery and after-sales enquiries.
• Prepare quotations for bulk, corporate, school or team orders where required.
• Build and maintain relationships with repeat and existing customers.
• Support sales for team, club, school and bulk orders.
• Coordinate with internal teams on customised jersey/apparel requirements and other customer requests.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, orders, customer information and sales activities.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve sales and customer experience.
• Assist with product listings, promotions and other eCommerce sales activities when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of sales, indoor sales, telesales, customer service or eCommerce experience.
• Experience handling online customers, WhatsApp, social media or eCommerce platforms is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers through both written and verbal channels.
• Sales-oriented with good follow-up and conversion skills.
• Customer-focused, proactive and able to work independently.
• Good computer skills and comfortable working with online sales systems.
• Able to multitask and manage multiple customer enquiries simultaneously.
• Interest in sports, fitness or sporting products will be an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in retail, sports products, eCommerce, consumer products or online sales are encouraged to apply.

REMUNERATION PACKAGES:
Basic Salary: RM3,500 to RM4000
