Full Time Technician - Quality Control Jobs, Salary up to MYR 1,800 in YTL Cement Group Selangor - Maukerja

Work Location: Slag Cement Sdn Bhd (Westport, Selangor)

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating laboratory operations and activities in accordance with the quality control plan.

Job Descriptions

• Perform sampling for laboratory testing.
• Conduct daily physical tests on products and raw materials and assess product quality against established targets.
• Prepare daily test reports and promptly report test results to all relevant personnel or departments.
• Perform laboratory equipment maintenance.
• Understand and comply with all Management System requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safety and health standards are upheld in the laboratory at all times.
• Informing superiors of abnormality or non-conformity in the laboratory areas.
• Carry out any other duties/tasks required by superiors from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or higher in any field from a recognised institution.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with at least one year of experience in cement manufacturing or heavy industry will have an added advantage.
• Knowledge of cement mill process control, physical and chemical testing, relevant Malaysian and international standards, chemical safety, laboratory and ISO management systems, XRF operation, troubleshooting and maintenance, as well as computer literacy, is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work shifts (including night shifts)

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
