Key Responsibilities
Set up and run woodworking tools, such as CNC machines, routers, planers, saws, and edge banding machines.
Cut, shape, sand, and join wood, plywood, laminates, and MDF to build cabinets, doors, and furniture.
Read and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
Perform on-site installation, adjustments, surface sanding, and oiling.
Keep the workspace clean, maintain tools, and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
Job Requirements
Practical background in furniture manufacturing, carpentry, or workshop maintenance (typically 1 to 3 years).
Strong knowledge of wood properties, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Certification in carpentry, vocational training, or mechanical/manufacturing technology is often preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in environments with noise and wood dust.
