Full Time Automotive Technical Engineer (Dealer Support) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,000 in Boon Siew Honda Selangor - Maukerja

Technical Support

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to dealers for complex product-related issues.
• Respond to technical inquiries from dealers via phone, email, reports, and other communication channels.
• Guide dealers through diagnostic procedures and recommend effective corrective actions to resolve technical issues.
• Investigate field technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide practical solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Support the warranty claim process by reviewing technical findings, validating failure causes, and determining whether issues are related to manufacturing defects, product quality concerns, or operational factors.
• Escalate unresolved technical cases to factory teams and coordinate investigations until resolution.
• Conduct technical evaluations, product testing, and performance assessments to support issue resolution, warranty investigations, and product improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, maintain issue tracking records, and support dealers in preparing warranty and technical documentation.
• Conduct technical training and knowledge sharing sessions for dealer technicians.
• Communicate product updates, new technologies, technical improvements, and troubleshooting best practices throughout the dealer network.
• Ensure consistent technical service standards and after-sales support quality across dealerships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering. Diploma holder with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience will also be considered.
• Good in diagnostic & troubleshooting skills will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of warranty process from supplier to end customer is an added advantage.
• Analytically driven and process improvement oriented.
• Able to read and understand workshop manuals and parts catalogues.
• IT savvy, with the ability to use and interpret system data effectively.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing and able to travel frequently to dealerships, conduct field investigations, technical audits, quality inspections, and training activities nationwide.

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
