Urgent Hiring – Network Security Engineer | Malaysia

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in network security, Cisco security technologies and troubleshooting.

Role: Network Security Engineer

Location: Malaysia

Work Mode: Onsite

Contract Duration: 3 months

Key Requirements

Strong understanding of basic networking technologies, including LAN Switching & Routing

Experience with at least 2 Cisco Security products – ASA, FTD, Firepower, ISE, ESA, WSA or AnyConnect

Strong understanding of NAT, Zoning, VPNs & Identity Management

Good knowledge of perimeter security design principles

Strong troubleshooting skills across network and security environments

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Good to Have

Experience working with Cisco and third-party network elements, routers, switches and network management products

Strong understanding of failover scenarios and high availability

Deep troubleshooting knowledge of Cisco ASA/FTD

Configuration and troubleshooting experience with Cisco ISE, including policy management and profiling

Experience with Internet Edge Security

Strong knowledge of AAA protocols – TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1X, EAP-TLS, EAP-PEAP & Captive Portals

Experience with BYOD & Guest Networks

Scripting knowledge – Perl, Shell scripting, XML, etc.

Ability to manage multiple technical tasks including solution integration and complex troubleshooting.

Education & Certifications

BE/B.Tech/BSc in Computer Science or equivalent

CCNA – Mandatory

CCNP – Preferred

CEH / CISSP / OSCP – Advantage
