The Role

As a Founding Infra / Backend Engineer, you will architect and build the infrastructure powering the company’s core platform. You’ll design and scale systems that orchestrate fleets of browsers, emulators, simulators, and AI agents in the cloud.

Working closely with the founders and engineering team, you’ll tackle complex infrastructure challenges, shape technical architecture, and build highly reliable systems that directly impact customers.

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale infrastructure capable of running thousands of browser and web agents daily.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems.
• Improve reliability, scalability, fault tolerance, and performance across the infrastructure stack.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and founders to rapidly deliver high-impact solutions.
• Translate complex customer and product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Evaluate technical trade-offs and communicate architectural decisions clearly.
• Help establish infrastructure standards and best practices as the company scales.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating infrastructure at scale.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, scalability, reliability, observability, and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Redis, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of how infrastructure decisions affect product performance and customer experience.
• Ability to independently analyze complex requirements, evaluate technical trade-offs, and drive projects from concept to production.
• Highly autonomous, ambitious, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile emulators, Chrome/browser infrastructure, or DevOps for testing platforms.
• Experience building and scaling infrastructure from 0 → 1.
• Experience with Celery and Prometheus.
• Previous experience operating large-scale agent, automation, testing, or compute workloads.
