You'd be a good fit if

• You are studying interface, graphic, multimedia or product design, or you are self-taught and can show the work
• You are comfortable in Figma, or comfortable enough to get fluent quickly
• You can explain why you made a design choice, not only that it looks good
• You are curious about AI tools rather than worried about them. No AI experience needed, that is what we will teach you
• You can commit at least three months

• Built anything interactive, beyond static screens
• Touched a design system or a component library
• Adobe Creative Suite, Webflow, or any front-end familiarity at all
• Made something nobody asked you to make

• One or two sentences on a design decision you changed your mind about, and what changed it

You don't need to tick every box. If you're keen and coachable, apply anyway.

AI will not take your design job. Not knowing how to use it might.

Most design internships in 2026 still teach the 2019 workflow. This one does not. You will learn to run research, wireframes, prototypes and design system work with AI in the loop, and, just as importantly, learn where to overrule it. We build websites for listed companies and large Malaysian brands on Nuxt and Strapi, so what you design gets built and goes live rather than filed in a folder.

Interns who do well here have a route to a full-time seat. No promises, but it is a real path, and we would rather grow a designer than hire a stranger.

What you'll work on

• Turn a client brief into wireframes and a clickable Figma prototype, using AI to reach the first draft faster
• Run desk research and competitor reviews with AI, then check what it got wrong, because it will
• Build and maintain components in our design system so screens stay consistent across an entire site
• Prepare designs for handoff and watch our developers build them in Nuxt
• Sit in on real client reviews and hear how design decisions get defended out loud

What you'll walk away with

• A portfolio of live, shipped work for companies people have heard of, not classroom briefs
• A working AI design practice you can name and demonstrate in an interview, which most graduates cannot
• Real design system experience, the thing junior portfolios almost always lack
• The judgement to tell a good AI output from a confident wrong one
• A reference from a studio that has been building for Malaysian brands since 2007

Working arrangement

• On site in Puchong from Tuesday to Friday, Mondays remote
• Flexible start, anywhere between 7am and 10am
• Three months minimum, longer preferred
