Full Time Assistant-Manager - IFRS - Strategy Jobs, in Gravitas Recruitment Group - Maukerja

Our client, a global insurer's regional office, is seeking an experienced Actuary to join as an Assistant Manager/Manager in the Life Actuarial, IFRS and Strategy team.

This is a great opportunity for Actuaries who are looking to develop their career as part of a regional office - You'll work directly with Group Companies across Asia on IFRS 17 performance, pricing endorsement, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• IFRS17 performance review, product endorsement, and strategic initiatives - Working closely with Life Group Companies across the region
• Review and endorse new product and enhancement proposals - Key pricing metrics and product risk
• Review monthly and quarterly IFRS results and business performance, analyse key drivers behind CSM movements and P&L
• Support regional KPI framework - Business plan review, performance analysis, and monitoring of distribution and medical loss ratios
• Review and endorse reinsurance treaties, experience studies
• Provide technical support and guidance across Life Group Companies

Critical Requirements

• 6 - 10 years of experience in the actuarial industry, with exposure to pricing / product development / IFRS17
• Proven experience in profitability metrics (VNB, CSM, breakeven period, new business strain etc.)
• IFRS17 reporting, performance analysis, or pricing-stage CSM assessment experience is highly advantageous
