Role Description:

The SAP Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) Consultant will support clients in implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP CTRM solutions to manage commodity trading operations and risk exposure. This contract role is based on-site in Cyberjaya, where the consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design processes, and translate trading and risk models into SAP functionalities. Daily responsibilities include system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as preparing functional specifications, documentation, and user training materials. The consultant will collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP CTRM with related modules and external systems, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and performance. The role also involves providing expert advice on best practices for commodity trading, risk management, and regulatory reporting, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SAP Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM), including configuration, process design, and integration with relevant SAP modules (such as SD, MM, FI/CO).
• Solid understanding of commodity trading life cycle, including deal capture, pricing, valuation, risk measurement, and hedging strategies.
• Knowledge of risk management concepts such as market risk, credit risk, exposure management, and related reporting and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Experience in system testing, defect resolution, and production support for SAP or similar enterprise trading platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and project managers, in an on-site environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and documentation quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
• Prior consulting experience in energy, commodities, or financial services sectors is highly beneficial.
