CAD Designer

The CAD Designer will be responsible for the production of initial designs, details, shop drawings and arrangement layout drawings for fire suppression systems. He / She will also ensure that the drawings and hydraulic calculations can be finished in the targeted time.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and drafting of the technical drawings for projects, proposal submissions, etc.
• Produce Hydraulic calculation and AUTOCAD design drawing according to the relevant code requirements and the project requirements;
• Preparation of precision technical shop drawings, M&E drawings, working drawings, detail drawings and as-built drawings using AutoCAD software
• Designing and modifying for project related submissions
• Assist in quantity and dimension measurement
• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
• Documentation of working drawings and projects
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Design Manager

Requirements

• At least 2 years AutoCAD experience proficiency

• Ability to read and understand M & E and architectural drawings

• Computer skills in Microsoft office such as Word and Excel

• Organized and detailed

• Independent and outgoing personality

• Ability to think out-of-the-box
