As a Seamstress, you’re not just ensuring a continuous supply of clean linens – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Perform uniform alterations, repairs, hemming, resizing, and garment adjustments.
- Take accurate measurements and conduct uniform fittings for team members.
- Inspect uniforms and identify items requiring repair or replacement.
- Ensure all completed work meets required quality and presentation standards.
- Maintain sewing machines, equipment, and tailoring supplies in good condition.
- Keep the tailoring area clean, organised, and safe.
- Maintain records of uniform alterations and repairs.
- Support uniform preparation for new joiners, hotel events, VIP occasions, and operational requirements.
- Work closely with HR, Housekeeping, Laundry, and other departments on uniform requirements.
- Handle all uniforms and garments carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Seamstress, Tailor, or Sewing Specialist.
- Strong sewing, alteration, and garment repair skills.
- Good attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is an advantage.
