Full Time Professor in Computer Science - ICT - Software Engineering Jobs, Salary up to MYR 32,000 in Borneo XHub Sarawak - Maukerja

• Deliver engaging, innovative, and industry-relevant teaching across diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate ICT-related programmes.
• Lead and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, fostering a strong culture of inquiry, innovation, and knowledge development.
• Initiate and contribute to high-quality scholarly research activities in alignment with the university’s research priorities and strategic agenda.
• Design, develop, and continuously enhance courses to incorporate emerging industry trends, technological advancements, and relevant accreditation requirements.
• Contribute actively to curriculum development, academic governance, and continuous academic quality enhancement.
• Establish and strengthen industry partnerships to facilitate research collaborations, knowledge exchange, and internship opportunities for students.
• Mentor and support junior academic staff, fostering professional development, academic excellence, and a collaborative working environment.
• Contribute to the development of academic policies and strategic initiatives in support of the School of ICT’s goals and priorities.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of curriculum and instructional materials across programs and levels.
• Deliver high-quality teaching including lectures, tutorials, labs, and assessments, ensuring strong learning outcomes.
• Provide academic consultation and mentoring to students.
• Continuously improve teaching, training, and mentoring practices.
• Support the Faculty’s learning, teaching, and academic initiatives.
• Supervise honours, postgraduate, and doctoral students.
• Participate in research training, contribute to research group development, and expand collaborative research networks.
• Uphold high academic, ethical, and professional standards.
• Contribute to the administration and enhancement of academic programs.
• Engage with industries and professional sectors to strengthen partnerships.
• Demonstrate leadership in academic, research, professional, and community activities that align with the Faculty’s goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, supported by a strong academic track record.
• Demonstrated excellence in university-level teaching and curriculum design.
• Established research profile with a record of high-impact publications and success in securing competitive research grants.
• A proven track record of high-quality, impactful research and recognized leadership in research.
• Experience in developing effective academic-industry partnerships is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Pay: RM19,000.00 - RM32,000.00 per month
