Job Description
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to accounts payable.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address payment inquiries.
- Prepare and generate reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Support the month-end closing process by ensuring accurate AP data.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payable procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in AP operations.
A Successful AP Analyst Should Have
- A strong foundation in accounting and finance practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to reconcile financial records accurately.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes in the retail industry is an advantage.
- Permanent employment in the retail industry based in Malaysia.
