Role Description

The QA/QC Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Taman Industri Alam Jaya, Puncak Alam.

The QA/QC Officer will be responsible for supporting quality assurance and quality control activities, with a strong focus on documentation, compliance, quality management systems, and continuous improvement.

The role involves maintaining quality-related documents and records, supporting ISO 9001:2015 and FSC (Chain of Custody) requirements, conducting internal audits, monitoring compliance, and following up on quality issues and corrective actions.

The QA/QC Officer will work closely with the QA Manager, Production, Sales, and other relevant teams to ensure that customer requirements and quality standards are consistently met. The role will also support customer complaint handling, CAR/PAR, workplace safety monitoring, and improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain ISO 9001:2015 and FSC (Chain of Custody) management systems.
• Conduct internal audits and assist in ensuring compliance with customer and certification requirements.
• Prepare, update, and maintain QA/QC documentation, procedures, records, and reports.
• Manage inspection records, quality reports, checklists, and other quality-related documentation.
• Monitor and follow up on quality issues and non-conformities.
• Handle customer complaints and assist with Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CAR/PAR).
• Coordinate with relevant departments to investigate quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support the QA Manager in workplace safety monitoring and improvement programs.
• Assist in identifying areas for improvement and implementing continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with Production and other departments to maintain consistent product quality and compliance.

Job Requirements

• SPM, Diploma, or Degree holder in any relevant field.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality management systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of FSC Chain of Custody requirements will be an advantage.
• Experience in documentation, internal audits, compliance, and quality reporting is an advantage.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling quality issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, packaging, printing, or similar quality-focused environment is an advantage.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday: Half Day

Sunday: OFF

Upcoming Relocation:

The company will be relocating soon to Kota Puteri, Ijok, Selangor.

Candidates should be comfortable working at the current location and relocating to the new location when the relocation takes place.
