Project Manager - ESB / Integration Projects

Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – onsite approximately 2 days per week

Employment Type: Full-time/ Long term renewable contract

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of Preview, PSM, and other Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) / Integration & Middleware projects. The role will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed scope and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of ESB, integration, middleware, and application development projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery against agreed objectives.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Manage project financials, including budget tracking, cost control, and forecasting.
• Coordinate and manage internal teams, technical teams, vendors, and other project resources.
• Engage and communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, management, and external parties.
• Manage project changes and support Request for Change (RFC) processes.
• Oversee incident management and ensure project-related issues are appropriately tracked and resolved.
• Facilitate project governance, status reporting, meetings, and stakeholder updates.
• Ensure proper project documentation and compliance with organizational processes.
• Drive effective collaboration between development, integration, middleware, infrastructure, and business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably managing application development, integration, middleware, or ESB projects.
• Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, risk management, budgeting, resource management, and stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of Application Development and software delivery lifecycle.
• Basic technical knowledge of Java.
• Basic understanding of Apache Apigee / API Management and integration technologies.
• Experience working with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Integration & Middleware projects is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience in incident management and RFC/change management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
