Responsibilities

Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience in business consulting, especially in the area of digital process transformation and development/implementation of IT solutions

Experience in project management with proven record of successfully managing and delivering medium to large scale client engagements

Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese is required, as many of our clients operate across Japan and international markets

Responsibilities:
Lead specific workstreams within consulting engagements and take ownership of deliverables from planning through completion

Conduct market research, industry assessments, competitive benchmarking, and business performance analyses

Support the development of business strategies,transformation roadmaps, and operational improvement initiatives

Prepare client-ready presentations, reports, and executive level recommendations

Build productive working relationships with client stakeholders across different organisational levels

Support engagement managers and project leads in maintaining effective client communications

Help identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements through additional project support and advisory services

Assist with proposal preparation, research, and presentation development for prospective clients

Provide guidance and day-to-day support to junior consultants and analysts, and;

Contribute to internal knowledge development, methodologies, and practice initiatives.

Candidate requirements:
Demonstrated experience supporting and delivering consulting engagements involving business strategy, digital transformation, operational improvement, or organisational change

Experience working with multinational organisations or crossborder projects is advantageous

Prior experience in a global consulting firm or recognised professional services environment is beneficial but not essential

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking capabilities

Ability to structure complex business challenges and develop practical recommendations

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong presentation-writing and executive communication abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight timelines

Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining professional standards.

Excellent spoken and written command of English and/or Japanese

Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to comprehend and convey complex business information

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills – highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Ability to manage and achieve milestones and KPIs
