Full Time Staff Midwife Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in UCSI Hospital Negeri Sembilan - Maukerja

Job Summary

Responsible for providing high-quality antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and newborn care to ensure the health and well-being of mothers and babies. Delivers professional midwifery services in accordance with the Midwives Code of Practice, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements while supporting safe deliveries, patient education, and holistic maternal care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive antenatal, labour, delivery, postnatal, and newborn care.
• Assist Obstetricians during normal, instrumental, and complicated deliveries.
• Monitor labour progress, CTG tracings, and maternal and fetal wellbeing, reporting abnormalities promptly.
• Support mothers through pregnancy, delivery, breastfeeding, newborn care, and family planning education.
• Provide immediate care for newborns, including emergency resuscitation when required.
• Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety goals, infection control standards, and Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality maternal and neonatal care.

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Nursing and registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia and Malaysian Nursing/Midwifery Board with a valid practising licence.
• Post-Basic qualification in a related field is preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, on-call duties, and during emergencies when required.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
