Full Time Senior Java Developer, Unified Customer Onboarding Jobs, in Maybank Federal Territory - Maukerja

Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable and secure enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

•Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications and microservices.

•Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.

•Enhance existing systems by identifying improvements and resolving defects.

•Participate in technical design discussions and solution architecture.

•Contribute to system design focusing on scalability, performance, security and maintainability.

•Produce design documents, sequence diagrams and API specifications when required.

•Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLabCI, GitHub Actions).

•Implement automated tests (unit, integration, performance).

•Support deployment activities across environments.

Job requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any technology related field is desired.

•Min 3 to 5 years of hands-on Java development experience.

•Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot.

•Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

•Familiar with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases (e.g.Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

•Good understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is desired.

•Have exposure with messaging and streaming platforms (e.g.Kafka, RabbitMQ).

•Proficiency in Git, Maven/Gradle, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

•Strong understanding of secure coding and application security principles (OWASP).

•Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
