Role Description The Process Engineer (CNC Machining) is a full-time, on-site role based in Kedah, Malaysia. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC machining processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Day-to-day tasks include designing and documenting machining processes, selecting appropriate tools and fixtures, setting machining parameters, and monitoring process performance. The role involves collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues, reduce defects, and improve throughput. The Process Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, implement process control methods, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in process engineering, including Process Engineering and Process Design skills.
  • Experience with process monitoring and optimization, including Process Control and Analytical Skills.
  • Educational background in engineering, such as a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and related manufacturing equipment.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and technical drawings for machining process development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality management systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on-site in a production environment and adhere to safety standards.
