Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lawyer role based in Singapore. The Lawyer will handle a portfolio of contentious and advisory matters, including drafting pleadings, affidavits, contracts, and legal opinions, as well as preparing correspondence and case strategies. The role involves conducting legal research, analysing complex factual and legal issues, reviewing documents and evidence, and managing case files and timelines. The Lawyer will attend client meetings, negotiations, and court hearings or other dispute resolution forums, providing clear, commercially oriented advice. The role also includes collaborating with colleagues on cross-border and multi-disciplinary matters, engaging with regulators and counterparties where required, and supporting business development through thought leadership and client relationship building.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills relevant to litigation, advisory work, and complex disputes.
• Excellent drafting and writing abilities for pleadings, contracts, legal opinions, and client correspondence.
• Effective advocacy, negotiation, and oral communication skills suited to court appearances, hearings, and client meetings.
• Sound knowledge of commercial law, dispute resolution, corporate restructuring and insolvency, and regulatory frameworks; familiarity with white-collar crime and media/entertainment law is an advantage.
• High level of professional integrity, attention to detail, and ability to exercise good judgment in high-stakes matters.
• Strong time management, file management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple matters concurrently.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment while taking ownership of assigned matters.
• Admission to practice law in Singapore (or equivalent common law jurisdiction with ability to qualify in Singapore), with 2–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience preferred, though candidates with other experience levels may be considered.
• Experience working with corporate, financial, or high-net-worth clients and comfort dealing with cross-border issues is beneficial.
