As Channel Manager , you will lead the development and management of B. Braun Malaysia's distributor and channel partner ecosystem, driving sustainable growth, market expansion, and commercial success through indirect sales channels. As part of a strategic business expansion, this newly established role will be responsible for building the foundation, governance, and long-term roadmap for channel management while ensuring alignment with the organization's overall business objectives.
Working closely with Business Unit Managers, Sales Leaders, and Marketing teams, you will identify opportunities to expand market reach through strategic partnerships, support the transition of selected product portfolios to a distributor-led model, and build lasting relationships with healthcare institutions, government stakeholders, and business partners.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop and lead B. Braun Malaysia's channel management strategy, driving sales growth, market share expansion, and profitable business performance through distributor partnerships.
- Establish and strengthen the channel management framework, including distributor selection, governance, performance management, and partner development.
- Lead the transition of selected product portfolios from direct sales to distributor-led channels, ensuring business continuity, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.
- Build strategic partnerships with distributors, healthcare institutions, government hospitals, procurement bodies, and key stakeholders to expand market access and commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with business, sales, and marketing leaders to develop and execute channel strategies aligned with portfolio and organizational objectives.
- Monitor channel performance and market dynamics, leveraging insights and analytics to drive continuous improvement, maximize partner effectiveness, and accelerate growth.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of commercial and channel management principles.
- Proven experience in distributor, channel, partner, or indirect sales management, preferably within medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
- Strong business acumen with experience developing channel strategies, managing partner performance, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to build and influence relationships with distributors, healthcare institutions, procurement stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex commercial environments and lead change initiatives.
